Weight Volume Relationship

Soil is a three-phase system. It is important to establish relationships between weight and volume in a given soil mass. This app is designed to calculate the weight relationships such as moisture content and unit weight (dry, moist, and saturated) in combination with the volume relationships.

Instructions:
The app does not need all inputs filled. Only fill ones that fit your specific situation. If your input is more than needed, the app will calculate and overwrite the input parameter.
No unit is needed for input. Keep same unit for volume, and keep same unit for weight.
